Position Summary

The position will be responsible for supporting the Regional Trade Compliance manager to ensure adherence with local regulations in those countries where Energizer performs Import/Export operations in the region. This includes but is not limited to: entry audit, certificates of origin, record keeping, product marking compliance and material / equipment controls required by preferential manufacturing programs. The colleague will work closely with the Regional Compliance Manager, as well as the Supply Chain Managers and Customs brokers and appointed personnel at the Energizer subsidiaries in the region.

Accountabilities

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
To audit import/export declarations in the countries of responsibility
To provide the Headquarters COE with input for product database and FTA qualification
To assist on the elaboration, update, communication and enforcement of compliance procedures
To review and release compliance holds on the Amber Road system
To help provide training and awareness on Compliance issues to the affiliates in the region
To track and report compliance metrics
To ensure appropriate recordkeeping procedures throughout the affiliates in the region

Required Skills and Experience

Excellent computer skills. Proficiency with Word, Excel, e-mail and internet applications.
Excellent verbal / written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Good record-keeping skills.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
3 years of experience in International Trade

Language skills a plus
