Fivesky is looking for a highly motivated and talented Application Security Specialist
to join a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment. The ideal candidate must possess the exceptional knowledge of application security architecture and demonstrate the ability to recommend actions based on established security standards and practices.
As the Application Security Specialist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Make sure the development life cycle complies with the global security policy requirements. Ensure the security policy requirements are communicated and taken into account by other teams. Take care of vulnerabilities and issues in pre-production and production applications by applying risk-based approach practices.
Collaborate with other teams in application infrastructure and software engineering. Reduce risks by offering solutions to guarantee the application security aligns with the firm's requirements. Qualifications:
Development background is highly desirable. Knowledge of Fortify and manual code reviews. Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline. 6+ years of relevant experience in an enterprise environment. Skills & Experiences:
You must possess strong conceptual knowledge and demonstrate in-depth understanding of the following:
Knowledge of vulnerability assessments, secure code and infrastructure security reviews for network infrastructures and web applications. Understanding of industry audit standards, i.e. SSAE-16, FFIEC, and PCI-DSS. Experience with static code scanning tools, ie. Fortify, Checkmarx, AppScan, etc. Knowledge of SDLC methodologies. Desired Skills:
Experience with development tools (i.e. Maven, Jenkins, TeamCity, Jira, etc.) Knowledge of thread modeling, digital security methodologies and deployments, and security architecture. Interpersonal Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills like being a team player and effective collaborator with many different types of audiences. Independent problem-solving and self-directing abilities. Self-driven and flexible with high motivation. Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects. Ability to practice tolerance and professionalism in times of high stress. Strong presentation and written skills.
