Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.
Administers a variety of contract types including T&M, CPFF, and FFP in accordance with established company and government policies. Negotiates terms and conditions, pricing, scope, schedule, milestones, and deliverables for a variety of contracts. Understands and manages the current status of each contract including customer, product, scope, areas of risk, and challenges. Assist with identifying, mitigating, and resolving risks and risk related issues. Function as the focal point of contact or liaison to ensure required data/information is exchanged/transmitted promptly and efficiently between L-3 and its customers. Work cooperatively with individuals from other disciplines including Program Management, Finance, Engineering, Pricing, Legal, Security and Supply Chain Management. Experience with contractor manpower reporting requirements. Drafts and negotiates Proprietary Information Agreements and Teaming Agreements.
Able to support both the contracts and subcontracts functions: administers and negotiates subcontracts in accordance with established company and government policies. Extracts from customer RFP and/or contract those requirements unique/relevant to subcontractors and incorporates into subcontractor s RFP and/or subcontract. Verifies that Subcontractor documents are complete, accurate and delivered to meet critical deadlines. Negotiates terms and conditions (contract price, type, FAR/DFAR clauses etc.) with potential subcontractors. Drafts subcontracting plans. Experience with subcontracting reporting (eSRS).

*LI-MN1As the lead contracts source of expertise, direct report to the VP/GM, the ideal candidate shall have demonstrated past performance working with and through Functional and Program cohorts as well as across all levels of internal and external senior leadership; require minimum oversight or supervision; with the capability, capacity and desire to produce results independently in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Candidate must have a bachelors degree and at least 10 years of practical contracting experience. This experience must include command level acumen and application of the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations), Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFAR), and government procurement requirements. Knowledge of and working familiarity with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) is highly desired. Previous experience with Empowered Official responsibilities is preferred.
