Directorate Open Innovations Center Riverside Research s Open Innovation Center has an opening for a Cyber Security Researcher in our Beavercreek, OH Research Office.
Job Responsibilities: Initiate, develop, and implement innovative cyber research strategy
Initiate and conduct revolutionary cyber research within expertise areas
Stays abreast of advances in cyber research
Develop customer relationships and research responsive to customer needs
Attends technical interchange meetings with clients and potential customers
Works closely with engineers and technicians from multiple disciplines to architect, develop, integrate and research solutions
Develops research proposals, papers for publication in peer-reviewed journals, patents, and white papers
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered.
Earned PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field
Additional Technical Experience / Qualifications:
At least 5 years of demonstrated cyber security research experience.
Established history of peer-reviewed journal/conference publications
Superior written and oral communication skills
Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
Expertise in the following areas
Automated Program Analysis
Real-Time Control System Protection
Threat Modeling, Vulnerabilities, and Exploitation
Intrusion Detection and Prevention, and Network Communication Protocols
