DESCRIPTIONSUMMARY/GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB: Wolf Creek Federal Services, Inc. (WCFSI) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Chugach Government Solutions, LLC. The Cybersecurity Analyst supports compliance assessment and monitoring of government information systems for the 45th Space Wing. This position is responsible for assessing the impacts of vulnerabilities, developing and implementing mitigation plans, and documenting all findings. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & JOB FUNCTIONS: * Ensure that appropriate policies, standards, procedures, and automated mechanisms designed to appropriately protect the security of information are documented, implemented, and followed to ensure long-term consistency. * Performs testing to validate established security requirements. * Recommends additional security requirements and safeguards * Supports the formal testing required by government accrediting authorities * Prepares System Security Plans, updates Plans of Action and Milestones, reviews system audits, and monitors corrective actions until all actions are closed. * Assist various program teams in capturing and refining information protection requirements, integrating those requirements into system designs, ensuring program compliance with government requirements, and obtaining an Authority to Operate (ATO). * Validate that activities and controls enacted to secure information are continually assessed. Evaluate gaps in security and identify solutions to mitigate risk, including business processes, technical controls, or policy improvements. * Support planning and engagement efforts for organizational security evaluations, systems analyses, security architecture reviews, and so forth. * Perform vulnerability scanning and provide technical support for the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) to the Information Assurance (IA) Division to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of the network. * Development of security and privacy policies (in conjunction with IT governance and other policy development groups) that embody industry best practices. * Build collaborative internal relationships with program and project teams, as well as external relationships with customers, regulatory bodies, other agencies and business partners.ACCOUNTABLE FOR: * Timely and cost effective performance of duties. * Timely completion and accuracy of all work. * Dealing with people in a multicultural environment in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations. * Adherence to established company safety policies and industrial and office safety practices. * Compliance with company and contractual Standard Operating Procedures and Personnel policies and procedures. * Able to work well under pressure.QUALIFICATIONSMANDATORY * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience in the field may substitute for a degree. * Three years of experience in Information Security * Knowledge of the DoD's Cybersecurity processes (Risk Management Framework (RMF) is required. * Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. * Good interpersonal skills and able to work closely in group environments. * Must have excellent attention to detail. * Must have a valid US Driver's License. * Good communication skills. * This position is located at Patrick Air Force Base with occasional travel to other locations which may include international travel of up to 2 weeks at a time. * The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required) * Ability to successfully pass any employment background check and/or drug testing required on the contract.PREFERRED * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. * Experience with security evaluations, risk and control assessments * Experience performing vulnerability scanning using the DISA Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS). * General understanding of computer networks, hardware, databases, applications, security components, computer operations, and operating system maintenance * DoD 8570-01M IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+ CE, ISC2 CAP, CISSP, CEH, or similar certifications * Understanding of the DoD environment and familiarity with government agency reviews and audits * Ability to obtain and maintain a current DoD Secret Clearance.
