Estate Planning Specialist - Pacific Northwest

As an Estate Planning Specialist (EPS), you are the primary resource for trust and estate planning services at Fidelity Investments. As a member of a national team, you will partner with Fidelity Financial Consultants to lead estate planning discussions with Fidelity s High Net Worth customers. You will assist Financial Consultants and their customers by helping the customer to: (1) identify their estate planning goals and objectives (2) better understand their existing estate planning documents and (3) ascertain appropriate next steps.The Expertise We re Looking ForCollege DegreeJD, CFP and/or MBA preferred7 to 10 years estate planning and trust law experience, preferably at a law firm, trust company or wealth management firmWorking knowledge of personal and trust taxation, investments, trust and estate law, estate planning, retirement planning, and other financial services required.Ability to achieve interaction goals in an assigned territory with minimal supervision from management.Proven strong customer orientation.Ease in working with all levels in the Fidelity organizationFINRA Series 7 and 66 obtained within 3-6 months of employmentExpertise in estate planning; family wealth transfer planning; wills/trusts; trust and estate taxation; retirement planning; and financial servicesThe Purpose of Your RoleAs a subject matter expert in the areas of Estate Planning, Family Wealth Transfer Planning and Legacy Planning, you are the main contact for estate planning discussions with Fidelity s Personal Investing and Workplace Investing customers. You will cover a territory and will be responsible to support Investor Centers and Financial Consultants in Washington, Oregon and Northern California (East Bay).
