Payor Contract Coordinator


Responsible for the management of data entry, maintenance and reporting capabilities of the provider database and communicating DaVita Medical Group employed and contracted provider issues with payors.

Essential Functions:

  • Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate DaVita Medical Group's commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with each and every internal and external customer.
  • Assists the Payor Contract Lead in submitting face sheets to payors and addressing credentialing issues.\\
  • Communicates and interfaces with DaVita Medical Group's regions and sites regarding questions on provider participation with individual payors.
  • Gathers and consolidates provider data from a variety of internal and external sources.
  • Prints, copies and organizes all provider contract data required to be submitted to payors.
  • Assists Payor Contract Lead in various projects regarding provider participation with various product lines and/or payors.
  • Follows-up and assists the Payor Contract Lead and Director, Payor Contracting in monitoring the integrity of data in the database system.
  • Coordinates credentialing status verification of provider contracts to ensure that only credentialed providers are loaded in the contracting database.
  • Uses, protects, and discloses DaVita Medical Group patients protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.


  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.Includes special certification required for specific jobs.
  • Bachelor s degree preferred.


  • Over 1 year and up to and including 3 years of experience
  • Healthcare experience.
  • Database experience.


  • Computer literate.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
