PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the customer project teams as a member of the Security Team as a Senior Information Systems Security Officer. Duties could include:
Consolidate security team member inputs and update ETS Leadership on a weekly basis.
Consolidate security team member inputs and update ETS Weekly Acitivty Reports (WAR).
Assist the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in preparing the IS for periodic reaccreditation
Assist with the evaluation of changes or additions to the IS within the facility, work with the ISSM to determine security relevance, and make recommendations for approval or denial to the ISSM.
Ensure the implementation of security measures in accordance with Agency policies and ISSMs guidance.
Identify and document any unique threats to the Information Systems
Perform periodic Risk Assessments of the Information Systems
Ensure that each IS within the facility has an active Configuration Management Program
Register the IS with appropriate organizational program/management offices
Assist with the implementation of facility procedures, under the direction of the ISSM, to include media handling, security incident handling, IS User Briefings, and IS security reviews and audits
Provide general technical support to users and general system administrator support
At least ten (10) years of experience in engineering and program processes (CM, QA, risk management, reporting, security) software development methodologies, planning, designing, and analyzing processing and storage retrieval systems on a mid- to large-scale.
Understanding/experience with XACTA, Coffee Database tools, SEAR, etc.
Candidate must be committed to customer service, well organized, able to plan and prioritize assignments, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision and work well under deadlines, frequently with quick turnaround.
Candidate must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Candidate must be able to work successfully in a team environment and be courteous and professional when interacting with colleagues and customers.
Experience/familiarity with customer STE/STN compliance measures and requirements is a major plus.
